1. Introduction of the Civil Society for Empowerment for Accountable Education Project with the Local Government representatives especially the Educational representative
2. Understanding the needs and initiatives of Local Government
3. Recommendation of CSOs from the LGU

Purpose: To introduce the project to the local government unit and seek their recommendations on CSO activities within their Municipality.

CSE project and LC discussion:

• Sumiran Shrestha explained the project in detail in the presence of Mayor Dinesh Sir and Shambhu Sir with emphasis on the policy .
• Shambhu Sah appreciated and understood the project well, noting that such an initiative had not been done previously in Madhesh.
  • “We need Educated expertise, someone who would give us input in different priority themes.”- Shambhu sir
• Sumiran suggested that having individual thematic experts is a good approach for getting insights but thematic organization would help with monitoring.
